Montreal, QC - Promecanix, a leading, Montreal based, brake caliper manufacturer has just recently mapped their brake caliper product line to Activant using the new ACES standard. Promecanix wanted to upgrade their product catalog management area and chose JNPSoft's PartCat product after looking at competitive products.

Working closely with JNPSoft personnel, their MSExcel based data was loaded into the PartCat product using DATAFactor. DATAFactor is a user-friendly utility, delivered with the PartCat solution, used to facilitate data conversion by the business user. The data was successfully uploaded and fully validated and with the push of a button output an ACES formatted file.

The PartCat solution was developed in concert with the AAIA's development of the ACES standard and therefore comprises the most up-to-date in changes and validations.

Promecanix personnel were satisfied to have their data mapped to Activant and looked forward to loading their remaining product lines and mapping those as well.
